Behind this vision stands Professor Oluleke Badmos, a globally recognized obstetrician and gynecologist with over 30 years of medical excellence in Canada. Driven by gratitude and a deep desire to give back, he returned home to Nigeria to build more than just a hospital—he built a sanctuary of care, trust, and world-class expertise for women and families.
On a bright Saturday morning, July 1st, 2023, Coxwell Specialist Hospital opened its doors—not just with ceremony, but with compassion. In a heartfelt gesture of service, the hospital's very first act was a free health outreach dedicated to pregnant women, symbols of life, hope, and the future.

Dr. Leke Badmos is the Founder & Chairman of Coxwell Specialist Hospital, Abeokuta, Nigeria. A distinguished alumnus of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Guys & Lewisham Hospital, London (UK), and the University of Toronto, Canada, he serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Toronto, Michael Garron Hospital.
Dr. Badmos is passionate about promoting modern healthcare and advancing the wellness of children, women, and families.
